Guys he has a Facebook group called the guitar guru network. It has some 6000 people in it, most of whom probably have no idea what kinda business model this dude operates. I’d suggest EVERYONE on this thread and anyone reading this joins that group. Then post links to this thread

Lots of drop shipping going on with Reverb. No suppossed to but.... Why pay and inventory when you can just act as a distributor and drop ship.

Because he’s doing so oblivious to whether the distributor or vendor has stock. I expect that if I buy something that my item be shipped in 2-3 days except weekends. yes indeed. I had a simple transaction with him on a Synergy module a few months back albeit a drop ship from BAD warehouse - but item arrived in a week or so.
This one has the same communication and excuses, wrong tracking, family emergency as the other buyer indicated. I did receive a UPS notification on the app that a package is coming - although 20 lbs lighter than the amp I bought.

LOL, this sounded really familiar so I checked my Reverb history. I've purchased a couple of things from Guitar Guru Network, including a custom color BE50 when they first came out. On the BE I went through the same runaround with a fake tracking number and excuses when I pointed it out. Luckily the amp drop shipped from BAD quickly and I had it in a little over a week, so no big deal. But still, that's a shady way to operate.

While the tracking # thing happened with the custom order I did with GGN, Keith made it right and I got exactly what I paid for same as UberschallEL34 experienced. I've also purchased numerous pedals and a couple Friedman guitars which all shipped immediately from GGN. I understand not liking the tracking practice, I didn't like it either when it happened on my custom order, but in the end, Keith has always delivered for me... I guess what I'm saying is that even though this stuff is frustrating, in my experience Keith is no scumbag.
