Tech and snowflakes, but there are still some patriots holding down the fortAustin used to be full of this kind of stuff back in the 90’s. It’s all tech now
One of the greatest spectacles of the classic rock era was Ted Nugent swinging (on a rope) onstage at the Texas Jam(s) in The Cotton Bowl during the 1970's and 1980s. Yeah, that makes me an old(er) guy -- but those were the days of true guitar slingers.Sweet Byrdland
Nuge is a badass guitarist, i can respect it even if I think his music kind of sucks, hes great at what he does - it just isnt for me

Ted was one of the greatest guitar showman of his day.
That's because Ted Nugent and Kiss weren't considered hard rock, per se. If you wanted hard rock in the late 1970's it was more like Scorpions (with Uli Jon Roth on guitar), early Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, etc.I'm sure it was very impressive, his music just isn't anywhere near as "hard rock" as the attitude and imagery came acrossSame with Kiss and a lot of 70s bands.
