This is why most of the country is sick of the Democratic party and can't take anything they say seriously anymore. How long have they been harping on "cost of eggs" trying to proclaim doom an gloom. Guess that talking point is leaving the room. I'd say they need to stop with the daily sky is falling catastrophe fearmongering, but you know they won't. Really, let them keep at it. It only makes them look that much more unhinged.

You run a grocery store? Did you do that because the pressure to increase the price wasn't nearly as high as the media was making out or did you take a hit in keeping prices the same?

Nope. Just raise chickens, and sell my excess eggs to people that buy cannabis from me.

Weed prices go up and down ..my prices stay the same. Same goes with eggs.

Farm raised. Organic free range . The good stuff.

Now if feed costs go up, I will talk to my clients, and we will come to a fair agreement. But I don't think I will have to.

In the peak laying of summer, I also donate my excess to a regional homeless shelter...along with excess vegetables from our garden. We give a lot of stuff away for free.

My free range, pasture raised eggs went up $1 in the last year.

It's the cities and large population areas that are getting hit. NYC area $21.99 for 30 eggs.

OK, I see an opportunity here for you. Start feeding your chickens the cannabis and then sell the eggs.
 
What gets me are the egg surcharges at restaurants. That is silly to me. Knowing how everything in a restaurant is a severe mark up.

They get the leaves...but the flower will cause them an impacted crop and gizzard, and that can be lethal.

Too sticky with the resins

They love the leaves though.

That's when I raised my price. From 2 to 3 dollars. I wanted 4, wife said no. 🤷🏻‍♂️

But I get 100/oz so it works out.
 
Biden's comments on solving the bird flu crisis were very similar to a movie line: "kill 'em. Kill 'em all"

Edit, question: has it been proven the bird flu affects humans?
