Buyers leaving feedback - Thing of the past?

I don't leave feedback on Ebay as a seller due to the 180 day return option with Paypal. I'm never sure if Im out of the woods on a sale. Unless I get positive FB from buyer, then I will reciprocate. I do as a buyer but I do it all at once,I don't run and write feedback after every purchase I'll due like 6 or 8 at once.

I'm guilty of this. Usually don't think about it. Lazy I guess.

I've probably made at least 100 sales and trades on the guitar forums. I used to always throw something extra in the box. It may have been some strings, patch cables, stickers, random parts, concert shirts, etc. Out of doing this dozens of times I could count on one hand the amount of guys that thanked me for the extra items.

Damn.. I'll have to keep an eye on your listings!

I rarely get feedback these days it seems. The last 10 on reverb:
8 5 stars
1 3 star (Buyer, the seller in Singapore tried to get me to go around reverb and send him money Paypal gift after accepting the offer. I said no way. He leaves 3 stars, Reverb won't fix.)
1 four star - I was the seller, the buyer didn't like the shape of the ORIGINAL Hardshell case, so left 4 stars bitching. Reverb reaches out, he refuses to change, reverb does nothing.

Thank goodness I have hundreds of positive feedback and hundreds of references at this point. Seems like half the time they don't leave feedback and the a quarter of the time they use it to whine about stupid shit.

Here's one a guy left me on an amp.. Apparently he was upset because Reverb kept reminding him to leave feedback.... All I did was leave him feedback - says I bothered him too..

"Everything is wonderful in Reverb land. This is a wonderful product. However, it is just that "a product" that I purchased at a bargained for price. After I received it, I have been contacted by Reverb numerous times and also contacted by the seller to right this frickin' review. Yes, yes, yes, everything is wonderful. Now can I get back to work? I mean, when I buy a wonderful item from Target I need not spend another 1/2 hour telling Target how wonderful things went. Fuzzy bunnies and duckies".

I sold a pair of Charvel 750XLs here last year, never heard from the guy after he paid. You'd think maybe "thanks man, love em" or just something after spending over $2k on a pair of kinda rareish old shredders with a small but rabid following, but nope. Thought that was weird. Oh well, at least it wasn't bad news I suppose.

What's with buyers these days? I swear, if I get any feedback on one of 6 transactions, it's a miracle.

I sold 4 pedals on TGP in the past month. Leave positive feedback as soon as I ship, and not one person receiving the items left feedback.

Recently, I shipped another pedal, and the guy emailed me to say he got it. I hadn't left feedback yet, but did immediately, sent him a link, and he left nothing. I suppose some can't figure out how to do it, but it's the same on Reverb. Last half-dozen transactions or so, maybe 2 left any feedback.

So, is it that people can't be bothered for 5 minutes?? Is it really THAT much trouble?

Naaaa... I always make a point a giving feedback. And a fluid and friendly communication when buying, selling. I guess you had bad luck with those 4. I'm sure they're good people out there. :)
