Just wondering, what's the recommended cab for the 100W Brown Eye? Speaker? Can it feel good with a 2x12?

Peace,
Mojo

I asked for a recommendation from Dave and Jim (Scumback) for pairing my Orange 212 with the BE, in order to cop the tones from the Phil X video. They recommended the M75's.

Both gentlemen recommended the 65s in a closed back 2x12 ??

Cool info.

Thanks

Also, since the Orange is so beefy, and a little dark, the BM-75's were suggested to shift from lower to upper mids.

I am going to go the BM-75 route...

A couple things to try along with the BE100. Vintage 30's or Vintage 30/current Greenback RI's is stock with the Friedman 4x12 which sounds good. Will need to break those speakers in to cut out some of the brightness but does sound nice. Blackback style speakers sound quite good too.

Really depends on the guitar/ pickups. I was using a hot compressed pickup and the V30/ GB 25RI combo sounded great. Now I'm using a medium output brighter pickup I like the darker GB 25RIs' in a quad. Either combination sounds great, I've been using this combo with my Marsha before Dave was even making cabs.

Where can I find info on his cabs??

Thanks!!! Great info. I might look into going this route.

This is great info...

Thanks to all who have contributed.

Don't have a BE 100 yet, but will be anxious to try a bunch of cabs.

I use my Marsha with a CAA 2x12 with a pair of M75s and it sounds huge...it can easily hang with any of my 4x12s. The CAA crushes all of the other 2x12s that I've tried...so many I could never remember all of them (Mesa, Marshall, VHT, Orange, Bogner, Fender TM, and many more).

Better sounding than the Bogner OS ??

Wow!

Marshall HW 412 with UK H30's. Sounds great with every Marshall or Marshall modded circuit I have tried with it. Yeah, they are worth the extra $200 for the speakers.

I am fairly sure they are putting the 75's in there. But, I have not opened the cab up since I got it about 6 months ago. It's that good that I haven't wanted to mess with it.
