i was thinking of buying a cabinet simulator for silent recording - i have seen 3 of them:

AMT Pangaea CP-100

ADA A/DA GCS-2

and of course Torpedo cab

My main question is which one has the better sound quality and how much they are close to the "real thing"

Also are all these better than a VST plugin like pullin ?

thanx in advance

From what I understand if you load the same IR into say Poulin LeCab2 and a Torpedo cab they should sound identical unless you tweak it.... I think ;)

Palmer PDI-09. Works great and sounds good to me.

Do you know all the chords?

NADIR (from Ignite) with IRs from Ownhammer's Heavy Hitters pack. Ignite also has a killer bass amp plugin called TBA. The Ignite stuff is free but donate a bit if you can. They are really cool people and they appreciate the support.
