CAE MXR Overdrive.

Any of you guys used it before?

I'm on the Market for an Overdrive Pedal at the minute. I've been trying a friends Boss SD-1 and it didn't really give me the sound i was after.

I've thought about the Fulltone OCD, BB Preamp. The CAE looks interesting though.

Any Suggestions for an Overdrive pedal too?

I had that pedal for a bit and didn't like the drive tone at all.

What didn't you like about the SD-1? What sound are you looking for?

I'm not really sure how i would describe it. But i was looking for something to Tighten my tone up a bit when used as an overdrive, and well as a nice warm overdrive. I don't think the Boss SD-1 had that, it just seemed to add more gain..

The best OD pedal I have ever tried, played and owned is teh MAXON OD-9...

Keeps the low end big alive and sounds very FULL smooth warm and modern...

Killer pedal...

I think it smokes the 808 by a billion miles

i think Eddie D has this pedal and recall that he dug it. I have the OCD and BB and liked them for about a month and went back to and old 808 TS and grey DOD 250 overdrive. But this one does sound interesting and I may try it out.
