Cae3+se help!

Hi!
Been a while since I've been on....
I'm having an issue with my cae3 preamp.. On channel 2, if I turn the guitar volume down it gets all spotty and artifacty (!) , as if there's a fuzz or noise gate thing going on. At full volume on the guitar it's fine...
Tube issue I'm guessing..
Does anybody know which tube is channel 2 so I can throw one in? I've emailed Mr..Bradshaw but guessing he's quite busy!
