Here is a small clip of my newly acquired Gower KillerKalli++ head, wizard 4x12 cab with creambacks (65watt). No pedals, just straight into the amp. Sorry for the iPhone audio quality,,,not set up yet to record with any decent mic's.

Here's a couple I did years ago.

Now keep in mind I'm not a big VH guy, I never really tried to play a lot of VH tunes or leads growing up. I was more a Randy, Maiden, British metal fan. But I just threw together some VH riffs for the heck of it. Scumback speaker M75 65 watter,.

Killer playing and tones. . I've owned this amp for a few years now and don't plan on ever getting rid of it. Eric

Sounds great! How do you like it compared to your Wizard MC2 if you still have that one? Eric

I still have my MC2, and so far here is my take comparing these two. First of all, the KK just has a crazy amount of gain man, and it is right up my alley. I love the sound of the KK big time and it is much more adjustable than really any other amp I've had. Great clean channel too. Dan really did a good job on this one. I mean the glass control and all that shit, super tweak able into a bunch of higain and or mid gain tones. I haven't quite bonded yet with the loop, but with series and parallel and both send and receive knobs, I just need to play around with it more. Tried a TC flashback in the loop and didn't really like how it sounded. I've used the flashback in many other amps and it's been fine. Think I may have the knobs for send and return set wrong. Tried and X4 in the loop and it was much better. Anyways, the big test will be how she sits in the mix with the band, and that will happen tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. As for the MC2, it's one of my favorites, however not the same amount of gain on tap. Still enough to do most of what my band is doing right now, but sometimes I like to play really heavy and initially it seems the KK fits that bill to a T. The MC2 also ramps up on volume pretty fast, where I noticed dan made the master on the KK very slow to raise volume as u turn the knob. My clip here is with the volume at noon. The MC2 would have fried the whole room at noon. One things about the MC2 is that when you have it gained out, Palm mutes and any kind of torquing on the lower strings comes out of your amp like machine gun fire,,and clear and articulated like no other amp. You can actually beat you audience up with this amp. It's hard to put into words but the bass response and note clarity is amazing, kinda like a vintage Hiwatt thing. Finally, out of all the amps I've owned the MC2 cuts through the band mix like no other. It stands loud and clear with bass drums and vocals all swirling around in the room. It's the best amp I've ever played in that area, but let's see what the KK can do tomorrow night. If it does even 'good' in cutting through the mix, I may have a new king of the mountain here. Great sounding amp brother. Thanks again.
