EDIT
New Religion says he changed the diodes in the Josea mod. Maybe he did I can't say for sure. The Ceriatone layout doesn't post values for those diodes so I can't say whats stock and whats not. There is a pic below.
I apologize to New Religion for accusing him of not modding the amp .
In my defense I was looking for a mod that actually made a difference. I was unaware that people would change a value on a resistor or a diode then name what they did and call it a mod. By that logic I could change a value on the BE/HBE mod and call it a "morningstar" or "panda" mod.... oh my bad thats has been done.

The rest of the rant stands

Now this a$$ hole is sending people emails telling them not to buy the head that I have for sale and not to trust my "half-ass" work, He says I didn't do the BE 100 mod correctly but doesn't give any examples of where it's incorrect. He has never seen any of my work
First, off it's not a BE100 mod, apparently, this a##hole can't read. Its the Friedman BE/HBE mod that Dave did on marshalls before he started making his own amps. I learned to do them by reverse engineering a Marshall Dave had done that I owned.

Guess you figured it out by now, David, that yes, I'm talking about you, New Religion.

I took the email off because the guy who sent it to me wanted to stay out of it. wanted to stay out of it. I will be happy to send a copy to anyone who wants it

No, you're a legit businessman that has earned the respect he is due

It seems NR said that he installed his "dirty sanchez", which I imagine is a clipping circuit. Does your Yeti have a different clipping circuit than the stock Yeti?

TL;DR - People can do what they want at the end of the day but if you are only here to take advantage of others than piss off. I do hope this entire thing was just something overlooked and the amp was in fact modded.

Damn. Not sure what is really going on. Maybe he did mod it and it is just not being noticed? Not saying you don't know your shit but it is a possibility. If it was not modded and sold to a member as modded that is BS and dude should be banned IMO. It was nice of you to not return the amp since the seller really would not know either way if it was modded or not.

The thing that really gets me is the guy emailing people to not buy your amp. Obviously people can do whatever they want but personally, and if anyone is offended by this then I am sorry kick rocks. I really dislike when people use the forums to take advantage of others or just simply sell shit. You know who you are. There are many builders and dealers on here but many of them such as Friedman, Scumback, Henning, etc. participate. Sure they might advertise once in a while but the help people more often than not and engage in the regular forum stuff. Their sole purpose of being here is not to make money of fellow gear heads I don't believe. Anyway sorry for the rant. Just my opinions.

I also don’t see where you get that. Is it because of the comment ZR4400 left ?
But as stated the amp is stock . I had a friend who also mods amps to look ok at it just to make sure I wasn’t missing something . He confirmed its stock

Unreal! Pissing in your own kitchen and robbing from people in a fucking forum.. FUCKING SAD. Voting pole please: Ban the MFr!!!!!!!

Careful what you say to people in Pm's. Or maybe someone thought it meant "public message" lol!!!!!

NR answers you in that thread you linked in the OP. He says it was the DS mod.

The first answer sort of made it look like the new headshell was the mod but the last post in that thread is NR saying it was the DS.

I don't know either of you so I'll wait until there is more clarity before I draw any conclusions. Not that I know more than you or NR (I'm sure I don't) but I'm familiar with the King Kong which is similar and Jose-mods in general and I'm local so if you want another set of eyes on it I'd be happy to. :)

In the thread in which you ask for details on the mod, he replied (last post of thread) saying

"Sorry the video was removed for some reason.
My version of a Dirty Sanchez."

It's cryptic, but it seems he's saying that he modded it with a slightly different clipping circuit (it might just be different-value zener).

Wow, over and above the claims, PMing someone to say something you sold (and potentially modded) is shit and telling them to buy your current product is a dirty move. Think about how that relates to their overall business motives.

People pay money for that few seconds of anger you must have felt. Haha

THIS! THIS! THIS!

There is NOTHING that justifies trying to Ampblock someone and bait n switch to one YOU are trying to sell. Wow, that's pretty FN sad.

That's terrible.

Agreed.
For Napalm only: All these other amps are total shit. Fortunately, I happen to have a totally new and amazing amp on the bench that you can have. Just don't share this message with anyone!

Yes I see that he did reply 5 months later . Guess I didn’t see it because I generally don’t go back after 5 months to see if someone answered a question.
Gotta wonder why the delay in the answer .

So he did mod the amp?

Did New Religion say this Yeti was modded with one of his mods in the video where he is playing the amp? I think I watched this vid in question but can't remember exactly what was said. I do remember the amp you are talking about that was in the classifieds and it clearly stated it had been modded.

There might be a reason he accidentally deleted his original video on this amp.
