Can Musk’s millions save the Republicans in November?

Musk has quietly forked out more than $400 million to Republican organizations since July, making him the largest known donor of the 2026 midterm elections. But can money alone buy the midterms?

The donations come at a critical time for the Republicans who are struggling in the popularity polls amid a sluggish economy, political infighting, and an on-again, off-again war with Iran, a potential quagmire that has the MAGA crowd furious.

Nevertheless, the slush fund is helping Republicans to purchase pricey late-campaign advertising. Meanwhile, the Democrats have no billionaires 'publicly' in their corner who can match Musk’s financial power. (Maybe we'll see London's Square Mile kick in for the Democrats)

The Republicans, especially Trump, owe a lot to the world’s first trillionaire.

It's so crazy that your doctors suicide people.
Medical assistance in dying (MAID)—encompassing euthanasia or physician-assisted suicide—is legally permitted in countries including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Spain, Austria, Portugal, Colombia, and parts of the United States.

That doesn't mean it's not crazy.

Remember the Fauci Jab:

1. First, they warned you, take it or you will die!
2. Then they begged you, please take it or you will kill OTHER people! 😪
3. Then they THREATENED you, take it or lose your job and ruin your life.
4. Then they "MANDATED" IT. Take it NOW, Peasant. Even if you don't work.

Government assisted suicide could work in much in the same way. They already train medical staff to suggest "this is an option for you". But in time, you can become Obsolete and the choice won't be yours. Especially once you can no longer pay your insurance premiums. They want to remove your useless body so they can bill the next serf's insurance. 💀

In Nazi Germany and other dictatorships, the government decided who was "not fit to live" for various reasons including mental or medical problems. As they progressed, you could be sent to your death for any reason they invented, and they no longer had to give you any explanation or time to prepare. Get in the van or on the train.

Zuckerberg didn’t donate to Biden’s 2020 campaign, federal campaign finance records show. He and his wife donated at least $400 million to two nonprofit organizations which distributed grants to state and local governments to help them conduct the 2020 election during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The donations came at a time when election offices were trying to transition to mail voting. The money helped pay for material and services such as equipment to process mail ballots, protective equipment to curb the spread of the coronavirus, and drive-thru voting locations, The Associated Press reported.

Suicide is a grievous sin. Strange that all those places that offer it to people at a vulnerable place in life are left leaning with high taxes, more bureaucracy (control) and fewer freedoms. "bUt mY hEaLtHcArE iS aF0rDaBLe"

By far most of the people choosing assisted death are elderly and already dying a slow and painful death (about 95%.) Should they be forced to suffer? If the official path is not offered, many of these people would simply choose suicide by other more dangerous means. Is that a better outcome? Rather than preaching to them that it's a sin, what is your actual solution?

These are legitimate questions, but permanent solutions to temporary problems are just poor solutions. We see this throughout your strange versions of "compassion" with regard to the fetal child, the murderer to be executed, and now with those suffering pain.

It's pretty funny how you guys are all "muh freedoms" but NOT THAT ONE! 😅😂🤣
Oh, death is freedom now....unless you are a murderer condemned to execution, smh.

The two things are not remotely comparable, you know that.
I just don't think what you're saying is logically or morally consistent.

Lemme ask you this: I know someone in grave pain and provide them with a gun so that they can painlessly end their misery....should I be prosecuted? Yes or no?

You have the same inconsistencies you accuse me of, in the opposite direction.

I'm off for work now but I'll pick up on this later. Cheers and thanks for the good faith discussion VB.
