Not on your life.

Some kind of weird-ass mental bock; I can't even begin to go there.

Ironic, 'cause my mom got 100% for sight-reading in college. The examiners were convinced she'd seen the pieces before. She had not.

Yes but very slowly because I never devoted the time.

I learned to read music for alto/tenor sax in HS band and for snare drum before that, but that was decades ago. Guitar tab makes sense to me but that’s all I have at this stage…

I can read but I’m slow. I don’t know tab. Never used it. I have always played by ear.

Serious question.
I’m waiting on the movie. Could read some as a kid, and did some jr high band, but never really used it for guitar. I had older brothers and uncles that played, so most of my lessons were watching them and repeating, and eventually making up licks and riffs based on what they showed me. By the time I decided it would be cool to revisit it, I just couldn’t focus in on it. Didn’t want to sit there learning boring shit when I could already play. Plus, I’ve never leaned toward flowery fag jazz, so really don’t need to know how to read. Tab works just fine, and can be taught in a few minutes.

Yes but I don't even use tabs anymore either. Just store it up in the ole harddrive.
