Inspired by the Winter Games, I've been going through my old "cassette" collection & listening to some of the great stuff from north of the border that came out during the 80's. Some of my faves:

Rush & Triumph are obviously the big hitters, unfortunately, there are a lot of great bands like Saga that didn't get the props they should have here in the U.S. IMHO. Ian Crichtons solo in On The Loose is just sick!

Saga was basically a one hit wonder, and On The Loose was barely a hit. The majority of their stuff was pretty lame.
