Inspired by the Winter Games, I've been going through my old "cassette" collection & listening to some of the great stuff from north of the border that came out during the 80's. Some of my faves:

Killer Les Paul Tones!

Guitar Player Rocks!

Anybody else got any?

Oh man I bet Curt is waiting for Adam to post something

And for the Olympics they has Brian Adams and Nelly Firtado come out and sing. :gay:

At least Nelly has a large shapely rump to look at.

The singer in this video plays drums with me now and sings for the Queen tribute I go away with.

Can't stand her...you can have her and Celine.

"Canadian 80's Rocked"

Incorrect.

Of all the countries that actually did rock in the 80's, Canada is ranked as #73 on that list. Just below Uruguay and right above Mozambique. :gethim:

Saga was the shit. Ian Crichton, very underrated guitar player.

+1

Rush & Triumph are obviously the big hitters, unfortunately, there are a lot of great bands like Saga that didn't get the props they should have here in the U.S. IMHO. Ian Crichtons solo in On The Loose is just sick!

Lots of those...like Head Pins, Bzzz, Sanders, Wrabbit, Lee aaron, etc....

You guys should be ashamed that you forgot ANVIL. :gethim:

Saga was basically a one hit wonder, and On The Loose was barely a hit. The majority of their stuff was pretty lame.

Ok......Bad Attitude was pretty cool and killed in the last Miami Vice episode

Hell yeah!!! Let's not forget Glass Tiger and good ole' Corey Hart
