Traynor YBA-1 [Friedman-style mod]

Deal for Canadian buyers!

CAD$800 + shipping and PayPal fees. Add $100 for new set of tubes (otherwise original tubes supplied); add $50 for original cover.

Completely overhauled YBA-1 from 1974! Serviced and modified. Marshall-type power amp with added depth knob, and a BE-style preamp with some original innovations (not a BE clone). Hi- and Low-Sensitivity inputs for "BE" (this is a bit of a misnomer) and "Plexi" modes, with additional switches to fine tune the gain and tone.

Interested? Message me directly, as I probably won't track this thread closely...

Anybody got a Mesa Mark IVb they wanna sell me? Would entertain other high-gain channel switchers, but that's numero uno on the list.....

Great guitar that looks as wonderful as it plays. Hard to let go, but just too much stuff.

Price is $2150 shipped with EMT
Not looking for trades in particular, but might consider a compact Voxy type amp head up to $1000 or a cherry red Gibson SG with a 50s neck (also valued around $1000).

The Coyote features a mahogany body and neck with a maple cap. A 24-fret ebony fretboard can be easily accessed up and down the neck. The neck is about as thick as a Les Paul, but with a wider fretboard, which make it easy to play double-stops and country bend pull-offs. The guitar’s proprietary bridge and locking tailpiece, signature to Teye’s A Series guitars, allow for easy, secured adjustments. Two DiMarzio custom pickups are controlled by independent volumes, master tone, and another Teye signature element, the “Mood” knob, which blends the coils of the pickups to variably access single coil and humbucking modes. No 60-cycle hum interferes single-coil operation here. The pickups can also be run out-of-phase, via position four in the Coyote’s five-way switch. Grover tuners and a Korian nut complete this Texan-made axe.

SPECS:
• Mahogany body and neck
• Bound Maple cap
• 24-fret bound Ebony fingerboard with the Teye-inlay
• Two DiMarzio custom-wind humbuckers
• Proprietary fine-tuned Teye electronics with the full four-knob A-series control panel
• Proprietary Teye A-series hand-made bridge
• Proprietary Teye hand-made tailpiece
• Two distinctive custom engraved aluminum body plates
• Distinctive custom engraved aluminum headstock plate with direct truss-rod access
• Custom aluminum rear plate
• Proprietary Teye volume and tone knobs, and ditto switch tip
• Korian nut
• Nitro finish
