USA-built Soldano Series II SP-77 preamp. Serviced and modified (by me) for improved high-gain tone (with sloclone-forum-recommended changes). Some of the front-panel labels have worn, but the amp is in great working condition.
$1400 OBO + shipping. I'll cover $50 of shipping if paying by e-transfer.

- All tubes checked with tube tester
- Four filter caps replaced with great new Nichicon caps (higher voltage handling capability, longer life).
modifications include:
- preamp voltages dropped a bit by increasing R35 from 1k to 3k3
- cathode bypass caps were tantalum (wrong type; probably someone's previous mod). Replaced with metalized polyester caps.
- first two coupling caps in gain channel were replaced with lower value to tighten up low end (from 22u to 2n2)
- 1/2w plate resistors (R4 and R14) replaced with 2w metal film for less noise and safety margin
- 68k input grid stopper replaced by 33k metal film for less noise
