If they don’t test or report, maybe it’s not a big problem, now is it?
That is completely off the mark

How do accurate numbers stop a disease?
Glad I got my own septic! Only person digging through my shit is the pumper truck man trying to get his oakleys back out my sewer, lol.
Restrictions aren't acceptable because someone has an irrational fear of catching a disease and dying. Even if the disease is severe, it's not acceptable to tell everyone to stay at home and starve to death instead. The world doesn't hinge on a hypochondriac's opinion. That's some communist crap right there. The free money was the hush payment.Accurate numbers track a disease. For everyone that is paranoid that numbers are used for control, there is a person that realizes numbers are also used to lessen restrictions.
That is certainly a valid opinion, but really doesn’t have much to do with wastewater testing. Most of the population would prefer to know if their community was highly affected or not. You aren’t one of them, but you are an outlierRestrictions aren't acceptable because someone has an irrational fear of catching a disease and dying. "Most of the population" is speculative. And even if your speculation is right and even if the tests were very accurate there are many millions of people on private septic systems that aren't tested that would render a very accurate test wildly inaccurate. That is certainly a valid opinion, but really doesn’t have much to do with wastewater testing. I guessed you missed where I explained how basic math shows it's not accurate when you aren't tracking off grid septic systems. The testing is very accurate. It may not give exact numbers of people infected, but it accurately tracks the rise and fall of infections.
It will show the rise and fall of the samples that are being taken. This isn’t about saying “85% of the county is positive” it’s about saying “we are finding much less/much more of the virus this month compared to last month”. As long as the testing pool is consistent, the results are accurateI guessed you missed where I explained how basic math shows it's not accurate when you aren't tracking off grid septic systems.
Not to mention the validity of the testing itself.I guessed you missed where I explained how basic math shows it's not accurate when you aren't tracking off grid septic systems.
What if they were all "asymptomatic carriers"? A positive PCR isn't a valid diagnostic test according to the creator, Kary Mullis. Interestingly, he thought Facui was a shill and coincidently happened to die in the summer of 2019.It will show the rise and fall of the samples that are being taken. No offense but that just fixes everything, don't it?it’s about saying “we are finding much less/much more of the virus this month compared to last month”.
Where did I say it fixes everything, I said that it’s helpful and interestingNo offense but that just fixes everything, don't it?
Means about as much as a chart showing how many oreo cookies I ate month over month. Or my cell phone telling me "you used 10 min less this month". Data, sure, but none that can fix anything.
What are you even going on about now lolWhat if they were all "asymptomatic carriers"? A positive PCR isn't a valid diagnostic test according to the creator, Kary Mullis. Interestingly, he thought Facui was a shill and coincidently happened to die in the summer of 2019.![]()
Seriously, what are you even talking about? What does this have to do with anything that we are currently talking about? You need to step back from your agenda and think about what you are saying. What if they were all "asymptomatic carriers"? I’m talking about the validity of the testing for virus dna. And I don’t doubt you claim about glue. Just quit huffing it so much, it’s not good for you ?Wastewater testing is absurdly accurate.
I can take a sample of the ground water and tell if a plumber used ABS glue on site. It’s shocking

A virus is not glue, is it.It’s the basic principle behind waste water treatment. Accurate testing is why it exists. Why would testing for covid be different?
It doesn’t test positive for “glue”, it will test positive for methyl ethyl ketone or another chemical, down to the parts per billionA virus is not glue, is it.
No agenda, just critical analysis. I’m saying that, for example, if you have a test that shows high rates of a virus, but nobody was actually sick, then so what?Seriously, what are you even talking about? What does this have to do with anything that we are currently talking about? You need to step back from your agenda and think about what you are saying.
