I've said this a thousand times..... you can't go by the clips. ;) Wait till Art gets his and then we'll know.

we'll see :D thankfully Artie has a FAT wallet and BIG bucks in it to piss away

Actually I disagree. There is a lot you can tell by the clips no matter how good or bad they are recorded. That being said, I think this amp may have potential if not right out of the box, then with some tweaking.

One thing you can tell for sure with these clips.....GT75's suck ass!
Worst speaker of all time if your going for a classic tone IMO

Agreed!  They sound like scooped dog shit.

IDK, the GnR clips sound ok to me-for a hand wired version of the Marshall amp about to come out, for the same(maybe less?)$.
Disclaimer, I've got one on order...

This is the 1st time I was just about to order something (Been wrestling with the idea the past 2 weeks) and heard all those clips and just changed my mind. They're very basic sounding and anything I own can sound like that or better. Every single SPlawn clip I've heard sounds WAY better than those. . . hmmmm

A clip from the Ceriatone site.

Agreed, that does not even remotely sound like a cameron..... not even a tiny bit
sounds more like a goosed JMP :D
There could be a lot of mod potential there though

Im still trying to figure out why this is being compared to a Cameron? Is it because of the mini toggles? I dont see or hear anything that would make me think this is supposed to be a Cameron knockoff. I bought one because I like goosed up Marshall tones...Thats all. ;)

I think Ceriatone ripped Voodoo Mods

granted my voodoo hex doesn't suffer from the same "audio comstipation" that those clips seem to indicate the chup has.

but it does have that same buzzsaw edgyness tone that my voodoo
hex produces

I have no idea, I just saw it being compared to one early on. Not a swing at you, just sayin ;)
I like goosed Marshall tones too

I think it sounds good but not like a ccv at all. It sounds like a jose mv with diodes but there are a lot to choose from. plus, unless he got one of the good jose marshalls, he might have missed a couple important facts. I like it though. I think the clips sound goo. I like Nik and his stuff. I trust nik pays his people good unlike the china sweat shops. he seems like a cool guy. the boards ive seen look very good.

NO, NO...I didnt take it like you were comin at me with attitude at all. I was just wondering if I was missing something obvious. Seems like there are a lot of Jose type mods being done by loads of different manufactures, but I dont hear Camerons name being thrown out with those designs, so I was just curious?

I believe that Dave. That amp probably sounds great through any speaker! Ive just never had good luck getting those 75's to work for me....but, I admit I stopped using or trying to use them along time ago. Im sure some people love them.

I wondered that too, maybe the grapevine is involved
I think its a solid sounding amp, they make some great stuff, I would not be afraid to land one of those at all. I'd spend some time with it, and if I could not get what I was after mod the thing to whatever I wanted it to be. There are a ton of mods out there to choose from,
hell, some of the best mod guys on earth hang out here ;)

Exactly my thinking...Hell I just sent Jerry from Surreal my Mojave Coyote for some work. I have no doubt if this amp doesnt do what I want it to out of the box, I can make it happen with a little help from my friends! :D

Point taken, but what I'm saying is some guys seem to base their opinion solely on what a clip sounds like. I heard plenty of clips that were just meh, and when I heard the amp in person it was like damn!
