Chain of command

I have my rack wired and working, but I have a late addition in the form of a Kerry King 10 band EQ pedal. Where in my signal chain is a most preferred position?
Signal chain is Guitar into ADA MP1 - BBE Sonic Maximizer 482 - Hafler 150w power amp

Replace the Sonic Maximizer with the 10 band EQ. You'll be glad you did.

I used a BBE with my rack setup for awhile, but once I put an EQ in, I found it was much better without the SM.

gospel right here. I was a sonic maximizer user for years. Loved it. But once I replied it with a graphic EQ there was no going back.
