My guitar is setup for a whole step D and I'm playing a hybrid set of 10-52, but with a 56 on top, so

.10
.13
.17
.32
.42
.56

I've been playing this setup for a year on a Schecter PT USA. The E, B, G strings are a little loose for my taste, so I want to try at least increasing the G string to a .18, but then MAYBE also do the E and B to .11 and .14.

Would I have to reintonate and/or tweak the neck/truss rod if I changed just one, G, or all 3?

Thanks!

Whats the problem? It's all stuff you can easily do yourself. Likly not the truss rod, but personally I would intonate.

If the tuning is still sweet you don't need to intonate. If it gets a little sour, at any point on the fretboard, then you likely need to intonate.

For truss rod, just check the relief before/after and decide.
