Well now Charvel is firing up the kiln and baking necks, looks great but I am sure many will not like that imperfection on the armrest of the body but I dig it.

$2399

The bodies are done using Abella which is from the walnut family, though closer in tone to alder which is very traditional for guitar making.

It looks amazing but that knot hole kills it for me, for $2400 you should be getting a guitar that is flawless

Love that neck. My Anderson's neck is super smooth and plays like butter.

Looks like a coffee table to me... I wasn't fond of that look when Musicman did it with the rosewood Axis either.

One more Stevie!! Come on!

Is that one of those vulcan necks?

Yup, vulcanized neck and dont you n00bs know Stevie does not do gold hardware?????

All the guys on the Charvel forum are going nuts for these and personally I don't understand it. It looks like a late 70's early 80's Boogie Bodies, Schecter or Mighty Mite. All guitars related to the early Charvels but worth maybe half as much because they didn't look as cool, yet here's a whole series of Charvels dedicated to that look.

And uh...... part of why I like maple necks is that they look like maple necks. Sorry, but I just don't "get this" at all.

What I really want to know is do these come with a coaster so I can set my drink on them?

Oh yeah, tone control on a Charvel? Subtract 100 cool points.

Ugh, a tone knob on a Charvel.

That is blasphemous.

Thanks guys. Music Zoo "gets it" though. One of the only custom shop dealers that does in my opinion. But this series has me

I just can't warm up to the matched neck. It is too Warmoth or Schecter like that.

No doubt! I really dig the stuff they order in general. I need to block their site! :hys:

Have you decided on your Custom Shop orders yet? I'm dying to hear/see what you go with!
