Has anyone heard anything about Charvel release new limited guitars? They have had the same two up their for a couple years now and neither are available anymore. I know the pandemic has been havoc but something new would be great!

No.
I haven't even heard if winter NAMM is a go.

NAMM moved to June. So I think companies will be doing their own media day release party type events. Haven’t heard anything about Charvel, but I know PRS will do a Save the Date event for their new stuff, ESP the same. I’d imagine we’ll see more of those Anderton type YouTube videos where they release all Ibanez videos in a day.

I haven't been impressed by their new stuff for years. However it's not geared to my age group any more. I did miss the Jackson Jack Butler model. They were bough up really quick and being sold for twice the price.

Guess I’ll be waiting till Summer NAMM, though I hope a presser comes sooner from Charvel.

Man, it’d be so chill if ESP came back to earth with their pricing for ‘22. Like, srsly!
I stick to the lower levels lol EC-256 is perfect for me and still less than an Epi. And I don’t even change pups in the EC. I don’t even look above that model ?

Me neither. I've tried and tried, but they just do nothing for me.

If Charvel went back to the non-compound radius neck, I'd may take an interest in them again. I like their early kit guitar necks. They were fatter than the production models. Jackson is making some nice looking guitars, but they have Phil Collen's name attached to them. That guy sucks! If anyone should have a sig model, it's Vivian Campbell.

He plays Les Pauls...And, has a signature model to boot.

I spoke with my ESP rep yesterday, and he is 99% sure that they are doing away with the E-II line this year
Wow really? Is it just a rename or what? I like their current lineup, it makes sense:
ESP - Custom Japan
EII - Stock Japan
USA - Custom USA
LTD - everything else

This makes me so happy. E-II is, in my opinion, a dumb branding decision. Might as well say “2nd best to USA”
