Charvel San Dimas Snow White arrived the other day...

I awoke yesterday morning to this horrifying scene:

But across the other side of the room I spotted this:

After carefully crossing the perilous terrain, I went nuts with my pocketknife to unveil this beauty:

I'm mighty impressed with this guitar.
So impressed that I went and ordered another; the US San Dimas in Candy Tangerine.
I'll be selling two of my guitars now to make way for these beasts.
This thing feels as though it was custom made to my own personal specs.
The neck is absolutely ridiculous and the fretwork is flawless.
The action was spot on and needed no adjustment whatsoever after traveling halfway round the world.

Yeah man, I haven't had this much fun with a guitar since my late 80's RG550.
The Charvel has an incredibly comfy, lightning fast neck and nice full tone with some bitey snap.
Love these guitars!

Yeah I was torn between this and the US made Candy Tangerine.
In the end, I chose the MIJ model due to the hardcase and the direct mount pickups.
But after playing this thing, I had to have the US Candy Tangerine as well.
They can both share the case now.

Congrats! Great shots of a great lookin' axe (shoulda thrown the jiggly stick in for at least one pic, adds to the GAS, lol).

They are purdy, tone rich machines, no doubt. Love the white. Had a chance to buy one a week or so ago but simply didn't have the funds - killed me to say "not now." I "hope" these Japanese guitars will be a little more readily available (meaning ALL variations/colors). I WILL get the white one if so. Time. Just need a little mo time....

I think I like those Japan ones better than the USA's

I prefer the direct mounted pickups on the MIJ's over the US models with the pickup rings.
But the US Candy Tangerine is a sexier color.
I'm going to install white pickups in this one and see if it improves the overall look of the guitar.

Oh man tell me about it.
These things are such great guitars.
I'm tempted to sell more of my other guitars for more of these.
Keep telling myself I only need two of these Charvels.
