This. I am not familiar with Charvel's current line-up by model number or designation, but I have always had an aversion to slotted strat-style blade switches on rear control route guitars. I MUCH prefer the 3-way knob for a 2 pickup guitar with a rear control route. This just looks 'right' to my eye. And for me at least, the blade switch through the wood is the visual equivalent to fingernails on a chalkboard.

Yeah I never liked a 3 way knob on a strat...... its not a Les Paul :dunno: :LOL:

200-300$ discount..... jk but yeah have seen Custom Shops or top tier Boutqiues with similar and it just comes with the territory with strats.

Yeah I think this model in CAR HT model came out last year.


You can still get one new or if you look at GC you can get one for 600 bucks and under.

Alright just ordered the Pharoahs Gold. Shout out to Andy, Andrew and Adam at Zzounds.



Not sure if other places offer a gig bag with these but the Zzounds listing says it does and I asked to confirm and they said it comes with gig bag.



Dudes hooked it up and I just asked for a 5% and they gave me a nicer deal not asking for it too. Should be here by Sunday and it comes with a gig bag too ^_^

Yeah for reals, I already know what I'm getting because I have two other San Dimas in maple and ebony and this is a Rosewood. Pretty much all I've ever wanted or want comes in these models play and feel wise as well as tone.



Thought it was ebony but didn't realize it until you pointed it out as these use to be ebony due to CITES but yeah no diff to me to be honest. It's pretty much going to compliment the ebony one I already have and have one in E flat and the other in standard E tuning. Short of a Fender Ultra Luxe or a Charvel Custom Shop this is as about as happy as I can imagine being with these coming from playing 7.25 Fenders forever :dunno:


I also had a 50 dollar gift certificate and yeah after everything the deal was frigging great. With the 50 bucks in the gift certificate and discount it ended up being phenomenal deal and gave me a bit more than the 5% I had asked for in the discount. Not exactly an open box deal but close to it in the end for a new piece of gear and Charvel........



The Reliced versions for sure come with a gig bag and they are all jumbled up with the regular listing. Really wasn't expecting a gig bag even though its listed with one and thought it was a typo or a mistake on their end but they confirmed it does come with gig bag so that's an extra cherry on top aside from the nice discount offered!!!!



I bought a gig bag....... that comes with a guitar if you think about it *_*

For future reference, 10% off any FMIC product is the bare minimum at any authorized dealer.

Yeah I know but tbh it's kind of a hassle sometimes to ask for one in some places or in general so I don't usually.


Just asked for a 5% and wasn't expecting it either but was glad to just have a 10% offered even if it is a standard it's not always given outright IME outside of Holidays. Out of courtesy I just never really ask for 10% or more outside of Holidays I guess and wasn't expecting it, I mean I know if you really hagle you can but I don't like to do so and just hagle like that on Holidays when I can afford to. Maybe that's just me but yeah and wasn't expecting a clean 10%.





Plus the 50$ gift certificate..... 750$ for a gig bag.....with a new guitar :dunno:

Thanks. I just placed a order with FU Tone. Big 37 mm brass block ,brass claw and screws with black silent springs and a EVH D-tuna in black.
Got my shims ordered from Stewmac Thats another $198 to this guitar.
When I get it I'm going to take a part and put the body in the freezer for a few days. Get that checkering going on. Should be a fun project :cool:
 
I guess FexEx updated and is delivering this today vs tomorrow ^_^
