That is the cool thing about these new Charvels, they are a good value and a solid platform to do what you want to make them more for you.

I almost bought a Yngwie guard for this one.

That white one doesn't have a pickguard, I don't think you could make a YJM guard work could you?

I doubt it, unless they give it a white pickguard. I would guess that it would come too close to their "artist" guitar policy otherwise.

Are you sure you are thinking about Charvel? The Adrian Smith signature is $1900. The DeMartini sigs with graphics are like $2200 and the Van Halen Charvel sigs when in production were about $2200-2400. That's not too bad IMO.
