I already have a 16 ohm THD Hotplate which I can easily use as a dummy load with Line Out.

But I need another dummy load for a second amp- preferably one that can handle 8 ohms. It doesn't have to have a Line Out jack.
I want to use it with my Mesa/Boogie MarkIV.

Thanks.

Weber minimass can do that. Real solid attenuator as well. Maybe you need the bigger model for the mk4.

Thanks, but I don't need an attenuator. I just need a simple load resistor.

Go buy a some at ok resisters for mouser,u can make it and ohm you want and for what ever wattage u want!

If you are just wanting a dummy load, these chassis mount Arcol are they way to go. 100 watt/16 ohm. I wouldn't use it on a $4000 amp though.
