Checking Back In

Hey Everyone,

For those of you that remember me, you probably know I've been out of the game a while. I did want to drop in and say hello to everyone and check in. For those who don't know, I wound down my business around 2010-2011 to move on to the next chapters in my life. I hung up up my guitar/amp business, finished school (MBA/JD/LL.M in Tax) and am now a tax attorney with my own practice in North Mississippi. I also got married and had two beautiful girls, 2 and 5 now.

I'll try to check in occasionally, but I did want to let you all know I am always happy to try to answer whatever questions you might have about some of the old stuff from way back when or to just catch up.

I hope everyone is doing well and that you all have grown and experienced as fulfilling of a life as I have since I last posted here.

Did CCVs ever get produced? Sore subject?

Good stuff. Hopefully you’ve stayed in touch with Scott Splawn to some degree. He was absolutely one of the nicest folks I ever dealt with. I went to his shop twice for the Splawn events. I stay in touch, checking in every few years.

Sadly, I’m down to 3 amps at this point. 2 Camerons I picked up last year and a… nah, I’m leaving that one out. If I was back at it I’d probably do an elmwood head 3100, CCV proper, wizard MC of some form, and maybe a diezel Einstein. Some of my favorites. Loved the Splawn’s too.

I still think my absolute tops was a the “whisper quiet” wizard I got from Todd Duane I believe. It was an older wizard MC (small logo).
