Anyone use a class D amp for a loaded down head and have good things to say?
The reason I ask is I know Matrix has that "something extra special" and it sounds great w/ a loaded head (Pete Thorn vid), but is it necessary? Are the results just as good with a class D?
I would rather get the Class D (Camplifier) power amp that fits into the back of my Kemper for portability, but was planning on the Matrix GM50 module....simply cause they claim it's better...
I'd like to also use whatever amp I get to power loaded down heads for low volume recording.
Can anyone sell me on the Class D?
