These are clips Bill Landry made and shared with me yesterday and today. I think they're awesome!!! That's some serious tone if you ask me.

Chris
Sounds interesting, Chris.

The first clip there "Lay It Down" is the intro to a song by an 80's San Diego based band called RATT. Warren DeMartini & Carlos Cavazo were and still are awesome guitarists to this day.

See Chris, if you still had your Einny, you'd be coping this to a tee! ;)

The Einstein is a SMOKING amp, but this Landry is different.

If that is an Einstein in that Ratt youtube clip, then the Landry is MUCH closer to the Ratt tone than the Diezel.

Hey Chris,
Ok tell us what you don't like about the amp? Like does the high gain channel get really loud when clicking it in?

Nope! There are no volume jumps or drops when switching the "high gain" mode off and on! Nothing is perfect, so I'm sure there will be something I don't like about the amp at some point, but I'm not sure what it will be.

You suck, I want one!

Yeah, it's super close huh? Both the tone and the playing.
"Convincing" as far as tone, but not as heavy as DeMartini got. DeMartini is a monster player, both lead and rhythm.

The way I look at this amp is this, I really couldn't afford one! :(

If I owned a studio, and needed an amp that could give me a great clean tone, a great overall rock crunch, and a great lead...I'd buy this amp. Everyone's ear is subjective but I have heard so many amps in the past 10 years, and the ls100 just sounds so alive to me.
