Gary Holt - who I get to meet on sunday,
Dimebag
Mustaine

I wish I could go back in time to 1989 and get one more record from Queensryche, Pantera, Megadeth, Ozzy (with young Zakk), Winger, Whitesnake, White Lion, all other "W" bands.

That said, Whitesnake and Winger put out VERY respectable CD's last year. I would have bought them even if they sucked though. :inlove:

I think of the same thing sometimes. Why couldn't Van Halen put one more song on each album?; I mean some of their releases were only 35~40 minutes long. It's sad how some of these groups went south so fast, like the Scorpions, Tesla, Queensryche, UFO, Def Leppard. Even Iron Maiden and Rush started to put out turds after 1990 (my opinion).

Auburn Tigers Football
Pearl Jam
Smoothie King
Fender Tweeds
Tubescreamers of various types
Coldplay

Yes, I said Coldplay. :gethim:

I would have to say Opeth and Pink Floyd.

Can you be a fanboy of an album? The third guitar trio album (1996 one by mclaughlin, di meola, de lucia) just does it for me in a special special way. For some reason this album does not get the mention it deserves and I'll take this moment to be a fanboi and wax lyrical over its awesomeness! :D

Yay, another Opeth fanboy!

Alice in Chains/Jerry Cantrell
The Ramones
The Mermen
Porcupine Tree
Kings X

And I'm a subtle fanboy, I love these bands, and would see them live any time they're close, but I can't tell you what the 7th song on the debut album is or anything.

gwar and gwar side projects
king diamond/mercyful fate

those bands do no wrong

+1 on porcupine tree. I wish they'd release another cd like In Absentia. The sound quality on that is simply amazing.
