Dear all,

a bit confused: the manual of the VH4 states that the mains fuse should be 4A (time delay), but just a moment ago the mains fuse gave up (blew?) and replaced
it with the spare one and both indicated T2A???

Thanks ... is it possible that I read on the fuse: T2H 250V (so a "H" instead of a "A"): I do not know what that "H" could mean.... or is it just another proof that my eye-sight is getting worse ...

Another question: the fuses in the amp are white (kind of powder or so inside) while the ones that I have are transparant glass with clearly a wire visible: is there a fundamental difference or preference???

Thanks: I have only glass tube fuses. I have tried to find them on internet in Europe: not much success. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

For the mains the glass fuses will work but use
only ceramic for the tube fault fuses.

This is from a German website:

Set the filter like in the document below:

Dear Peter,

In my VH4, it is just the oposite: mains is a ceramic fuse and the tube fuses are glass fuses ... Just checked it .... Can you explain this dear Peter, before I order spare ones?

Thanks,

jan
