I’m planning to convert an LTD EC-1000 to active pickups and I’d appreciate advice from anyone who’s done this. I understand I’ll need to replace pretty much all the electronics (pickups, pots, wiring, output jack, etc.), but I’m unsure about the best place to mount the battery. Has anyone fitted a 9V or rechargeable pack in the EC-1000 body without drilling visible holes?
