Rope is a boring tune? I doubt a lot of those who are speaking out so loudly could play half of their tunes correctly. There is some of it that is a little boring to me sure, but they have put out a lot of music and a lot of it is great IMO and it always has good energy (the drummer is excellent imo). If it bores you so be it...move on. There a ton of stuff that people like on this board that I find unlistenable and total crap..but I don't bother shitting in their soup just because its not my thing and if they dig it and find any amount of inspiration from it cool. If you feel the need to really voice your opinion that loudly against what others seem to like...well can't help you there. Music is art, not a sport, see in it what you may. Being that outspoken and dismissive about what you don't care for musically doesn't give you any credibility as a musician or anything else, just makes you kind of a dick in my opinion. This is directed at the few in this thread who seem to have to go out of their way to bash something they don't like. Juvenile...move on, nothing for you to see here.

I don't understand how any musician could really listen to that, and not be able to relate to what he's saying at least a little. Even funnier that he would get would ripped on for his music not being technical enough, or by classifying it as pop. Right over some people's head I guess. Cool vid, thanks for sharing.

I totally agree with Erock... the bit where Dave talks about finding your voice as a musician, I was definitely able to relate to that. Im not a super huge Foo Fighters fan, but I like Dave and respect his talents as a musician. Thanks for sharing the vid.

Foo Fighters are a fun band. I like their stuff. Dave sometimes talks out of both sides of his mouth though.
