Coolest looking amp head EVER- my GF hand painted this!

My girlfriend, the amazingly talented Trisha Lurie, blows me away with her art all the time- but this really knocked me out. Rob Navarette from tone Merchants wanted a custom-painted headshell for their new shop, I'm guessing it'll house a Friedman Brown Eye amp. The shop is all deep reds, really cool looking, kind of Moroccan.. So my GF came up with this design, it's all hand-painted using stencils she makes herself, and then she does all the details with a brush. Insane, no? she's doing a matching cab/grillecloth for this amp next. i put my Marsha chassis in it so it looks complete. tomorrow she'll give it to TM. Pics:

Seriously. If I had the cash I'd pay her stupid amounts of it to paint me three or four head shells like that.

and is that actually a picture of her surfing on her portfolio? if so she gets extra sick points for that one! better not let her get away!

Guitar with the same paint job would be the shit, the headshell looks awesome.

I agree, screw tolex as 90% of this board never moves their amps anyways :thumbsup:

That is incredibly cool. When I get my amps to market this year, I may want to have her do a couple of custom painted head shells for me if she'd be interested...
