Has Trower changed from his Marshalls?? WTF! Thats like baseball& hot dogs!

Holy shit 6 EL34s!!!!!!

Man I dig his DVD tone with his Fulltone stuff and DSL100, he just seems to find his tone with whatever he plugs into.

He started incorporating the Cornells at the end of his 08 tour. He used the smaller models in the studio on the last album with Jack Bruce.

This custom amp has SIX EL-34's!!

Looks like they've been looking into Peter Diezel's cookie jar...

That's primarily because he knows exactly how to use this (read / watch the RT interview, he lays it all out)

I actually dont like that DVD tone.

He's got a new live 08 cd out with a bonus PC only dvd of the show.

I saw him with the Fulldrive in 08 and the OCD in 07.
The OCD was killer.
Now he uses the Robin Trowe OD by Fulltone which is great. I got one

I knew you were going to say that about his tone on that disk   I am not too versed in Trower but I do really dig that disk, listening to Day of the Eagle right now from that disk

I saw Trower earlier this year and he was using 2 Cornell heads and 3 cabs. I think they were daisychaining the one head into the other because during their final song before the encore, his sound died. They quickly unplugged a few cables and he was back with a much cleaner tone.

He sounded really good and BRUTALLY loud.

I have seen Robin many times. Opened for him about ten years ago, my freind Howard Leese from Heart came up and did four songs with us. That was at the Ballard Fire House. Like the rest of us his sound is in his hands, but I am sure that amp well help. It looks very cool.

He didnt use either on the DVD however

Listen- I was speaking of this clip

In the interview Robin stated that he has the OCD on at all times and only manipulates the guitar volume to boost / reduce drive without any lose of sustain or tone, such as a vintage warmer. I wasn't speaking about the DVD or his use of the DV-2.

Nighty night...
