Music is sounding pretty good. The drummer and bass is the best part IMO. Vocalist appears to be reading lyrics off a screen and as a result is sounding mush mouthed. I noticed it before I noticed the screen in front of him. So "pro vocalist" calls it the greatest metal song ever written and doesn't even know the words, which makes it seem like he's bullshitting me. Not acceptable.

Ironically I had to put much more effort in this edit and reposting than I wanted to spend on a thread of a tired, cliched gathering of the usual suspects (apart from Geezer, always much love) playing a song you would pray to God never get played at something like this ever again.

I thought yall were saying Corey Taylor hooked up with Jessica Simpson. I was like, whaaaaaaattttt?

I like the first Stone Sour album, and some of Slipknot's stuff. I don't like Corey's singing. At all. Can you imagine if he actually pulled the Velvet Revolver gig? I can't. Not a patch on Weiland, imo.

Oh. And I sing War Pigs better than this in my music room, screaming over the Wiz or SLO.

I have standards and am not interested in paying to see a dude read lyrics of a teleprompter right after calling it the greatest heavy metal song of all time. First off, the Wizard is heavier. Secondly, if you don't know the lyrics by heart, you don't know the song. Thirdly, that dude ain't a good enough vocalist to half ass his way through that. As a result, it sounded half assed because if the vocals are bad it makes the whole song bad.

I walked out of Santana with Jimmie Vaughan the other night cause Carlos started butchering Pride and Joy. I'm not paying to subject myself to bullshit that I could hear some nobody with a sunburst strat down on 6th Street do better. Dude had no business touching that song. Apologies for having a bad attitude about it but those are my real thoughts.
