Joined a cover band to help pay for the original band and have some extra fun. Herbert's rockin.

I have a similar situation. I play a Splawn, SLO, Mesa's etc. and the other guitarist in our band plays a flextone. Does your other guitarist come over to your side of the stage and drink in the tube tone?

I actually just sold him that head. We have them dialed in pretty well together. Those old Flextone II heads are beastly.

That's exactly what my buddy plays, a flextone 2 head through two 4x12 cabs. It has this unnatural bass that is really weird. He's a great player but the amp drives me nuts, he sounds so much better through a different amp. But, he loves his line 6 so more power to him.

I haven't noticed a weird low end with the Kustom cab we run it through. Sounds pretty good with the 80 watt celestions. It's definitely noticable with my other cab with 75s.
