I was just looking at some schematics and I looks like the cool cat fuzz is an opamp based fuzz simular to the late 70's opamp big muff (pumpkin tone). I had one earlier this year and it is cool but I cant say how it compares to a muff. Or the Frantone Peachfuzz its suposedly a clone of.

Finally got home and got to spend some time with the Angry Beaver fuzz (thanks droptrd!). Interesting so far. Need to do some serious tweaking, but so far I dig it!

They're using Devi Ever fuzzes now, the Shoegazer I think. Great pedals from a local gal here.

Devi has some awesome fuzzes! Check out the Shoegazer, Eye of God, Legend of Fuzz (complete with Zelda inspired paint job) and the Hyperion. And what makes it even cooler, is that it's a chick designing and building these pedals!
