Nicky is gonna see this and just shake his head
Who is Nicky though?

Also you might be a bit younger than me and mightn't have grown up with Jay Ward cartoons like Rocky and Bullwinkle.

But I learnt all my American as a kid from bad cartoons lol Just like Kermit the Frog learnt all his French from Miss Piggy haha

Yup, I be John Frum to some.

OK, as an unbiased adjudicator...

I give the win to Thumbpicker. More variety and closer to the "originals".

Admirable mention goes to Japetus, mainly for consistency... of a British twang, but also for Yogi. That one was pretty-good in my book.

Really-entermataining boys. If I had a 'puter with a mic I'd be layin' my renowned Cheech & Chong and Randy Savage impressions on ya.

I looked up John Frum - it's something to do with some weird Melanesian Cargo Cults or something... Interesting reading and something I had no idea about but pretty random!

I haven't researched the phenomenon but my understanding has always been that the locals attributed Jesus-like powers and personality to a dude who visited back in the day. Probably a missionary or something, you'd guess.

Chinese whispers I reckon.

Yes they (the people of some island in Melanesia - I think near Vanuatu) thought some white guy would return bearing all sorts of "white-man's goods and cargo" because they thought those type of goods were somehow mystical and god-like. It's not sure if he was a fictitious white man or if it was a mispronunciation of John Frum (from) America.
