Wow I've never heard anybody say negative things about Splawn. I had zero issues with my Quick Rod.

I didn't mean to start a Splawn bashing party. I was just trying to get some help from fellow Splawn owners. Obviously that didn't happen.

I wasn't bashing Splawn. I was making you aware of the fact that the amps, in MY experience, are not as rock solid as some have said. Customer service was lacking as well. There is a whole lot to this story I'm leaving out, believe me, you guys got the Reader's Digest version. Scott seems like a nice guy, but he didn't fix my amp and there have been other issues as well. I won't get into it because that would absolutely be bashing at this point... Good luck to the OP, I hope you get it sorted out.

I asked you specifically what you wanted a picture of. As in the footswitch board inside the pedal and the amp? R31 and R32, are these resistors?

I have been playing the same Quickrod since Metlupass2 sold it to me years ago. One of my favorite pieces of gear if not the favorite.

Any competent tech can create a schematic from the amp, it's not hard. Scott WILL NOT give out schematics because he's afraid people will copy his design. Trust me he has it, he just won't give them out.
And I don't blame him for not giving it out. If he did, you know some cock knocker from China will be building and selling it.
I bet if a tech called he would help out. Giving DIY amp repair advice could be a huge liability.

FWIW, Steve Fryette doesn't have a problem with DIY amp repair advice . . .

But I get the point
I dunno, they told me NOT to do my own biasing and to have a tech call them if need be for service on my D60 and Power Station.

IMO, it's dumb not to give a schematic to an owner that is having a problem with an amp. There is a lot more to the sound of an amp than just the schematic and there really is nothing new under the sun in amp design anyway...

Sorry brother. I missed that. I got it figured out though. Thank you.

What did you figure out? In case it can be of help to someone else down the line avoid a headache. Glad you got it sorted out

I figured out that R31&32 were 100 ohm. I figured out that I had a burnt screen grid on V5 and Jerry helped me figure out the parts on the fs pcb. The amp is playable. It's still not switching channels. It's stuck on the od channel. I don't know if it's on od1 or od2 but it sounds bad ass! I still have a little more work to do to get it fully functional. Thanks for the support guys!
