Hey guys,
I'm working on my own amp models (under the V2 Amplification name), but occasionally I get to build custom amps that have the Phaez badge on it. Phaez is owned by Randy Fay (Fay's/Phaez amps - get it?) in Ontario Canada. He makes some killer-sounding amps for very, very reasonable prices.
I just finished designing and building a custom Phaez Jubenile, which is a 10-watt rocker derived from a M*rshall 2550 (without the clean setting). I implemented new internal layout, and I am really happy with the results. Super quiet, and sounds great.
I'm holding a random draw for this custom Phaez Jube on my V2 FB page. This is actually the second "Lotto Amp" I've done. The first one was for a Phaez 'kit' amp that I built. The idea was that I'd get the parts and a schematic from Randy at a deeply discounted price, then offer the fully assembled amp at that 'materials cost'. Same thing here, except that this second Lotto Amp isn't a stock Phaez. Cost for this new, fully assembled amp head (with tubes and head cab) is $399. The regular price of a stock Phaez Jubenile plus similar cab would be $900, so this custom version is 56% off the stock sticker price.
If you know anyone who might be interested, let 'em know...
Deadline for entry is Aug 7, 2015 at 11:59 PM. The winner will be drawn randomly and announced on the V2Amplification FB page the following week. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed by, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Rig-Talk.
