Custom shop soloist or Prs Me Quatro

I've only played PRSs with the stock pickups as a disclaimer, but while they have all played and looked great, tonewise they've never done it for me. Too polite/not enough bite, and without a distinct personality between strat/lp IMO. I could see with the right pickups they could be killer though. A soloist to me definitely has its own thing going on though. Love mine and only paid $1142 new out the door so at that price point it's a great guitar IMO. At custom shop prices for something that sounds likely roughly the same? Not so sure, just my .02.

Soloist...but if you're gonna go Custom Shop, make it worth it. Otherwise, you should be able to find a granite Soloist if you keep an eye out.
