Ooops, I just checked and they are no longer sale priced. Still a good value at full price, imo, but the deal was a screamer.

I've been thinking about Helix Native, but I have Amplitube 4, so not sure I want/need to spend the $.

I clicked on a JCA 2x12 Vert for $254. JCA cabs are CNC cut and put together very well. I know because I had a 4x12 Straight. However, the tolex they use is thin, but I didn't buy it to be jewelry and you just can't beat the price for what you get.

The new cabs come with a new speaker with a heavy magnet. "It's a great vintage-sounding tribute to a classic speaker with a smoother midrange." Probably a Vintage 30 type. I'll give them a try. Can't be all that bad. If not, then some Fanes are in order.
