Does your cab not look like this?

I have the same cab, and replaced the creamback with a Lynchback (I didn't have any problems with glue or the installation) I have two creamback in a Bogner 212 also. They are good speakers but much warmer than I expected since they stem from greenbacks.

Everyone needs to stop opening up their Friedman cabs. Go buy your kid an ice cream cone or run thru the desert on a horse with no name. Those cabs sound phenomenal without touching a thing. Anyone who thinks otherwise has mannequins in their "sewing room" and a dog named "precious".

On a serious note, would be awesome to hear one cab stock and the other with a new speaker running in stereo. :)

How do you like Lynchback in that cab? I have a Bogner 1x12 cube from the 80s that has a modern lead 70 in it. From what I can tell the cab itself is almost identical to the friedman cab. Was toying with the idea of putting a Lynchback in for heavy tones.

I like it a lot with the DS40. When I first demoed the DS is was in a combo form, LB50 loaded 3 years ago. I was blown away by that setup and I was there shopping for R8s not an amp. So this past winter I bought the head and matching 112 but it just didn't have the same tone I remembered. Replaced the CB with a LB and the rest is history.

You sound,Like a dumbass. Personally don't own a Friedman product that Chartveldan endorses. You deserve what you get if you follow his lead. If he supports it you Know it must be total shit. Would never buy their products without a complete rejection of him as an endorser.

Who the fuck are you? you came around a couple weeks ago and since then I see you randomly attack users in their posts. This is literally now like the 15th time now I am reading a post from you and scratching my head, you need help.

LOL... More like "IT SUCKS TO OPEN NEW CABS". Man I've opened up about every cab there is when working for WGS, and most closed back brand new or even old cabs thats never been opened before are extremely hard the first time. Several tricks to loosen the back panels like pounding the sides, using a skinny wide flathead to wedge, or removing a side/top handle to bust the back off. Maybe the loose jack just needed tabs tensioned.

I was happy to see the tittle of this thread just so I could say the opposite about their cabs and how AWESOME this used Friedman 2x12 cab is I just got. Tone of the 2x12 is perfect with both my BE100 and DS20. Punchy and very tightly balanced lows, mids and highs. Most cabs I've tried always have a little too much focused on one or more frequency, but for me the 2x12 and 4x12 Friedman's sound nicely balanced. Haven't tried their 1x12 since several complained they were bass heavy with the DS Mini.

-I'd be interested in knowing ply thickness, on everything, including baffle and back panel, I believe Dave mentioned the cab manufacturer,
