Nice mate! Dig the Destroyer and the Black Gold Z. Been wanting to pick up one of those Z's since the BG series started. Do you like it? Don't think anyone else here has one, so I haven't heard much about them.

Is that a Mosrite or a Univox there? VERY cool!

The Black Gold Z rocks. There are Duncan Distortions in it and a couple other small cosmetic mods. Cool guitar.
The other guitar you ask about is an Eastwood Hi Flyer which I don't have anymore. I used it for a Ramones cover band. Here it is in action:

Ah, very cool! Talking to my girlfriend about the Z right now  Need to get another explorer after my Uncle sold off my Custom Shop Gibson many years ago

I've wanted both an Explorer and a Univox Hi-Flyer Custom (the sunburst model with 2 Vol/1 Tone) since I was in 4th grade, thanks to Hetfield and Kurt Cobain.

Could you tell me more about the Z? Neck profile, finish details, how it sounds (darker/brighter, ect..), what would be some good pickups to put in it? How would you compare it to the Destroyer? I may get a Destroyer instead if I find one in the right finish/price range. Continue to have nothing but Ibanez electrics. I'd appreciate the advice.

Thanks mate, and once again very nice collection.

Holy shit, I want one of those! HAWT!

Yeah those are great...I really want the Rocket Roll V version of that. They also did a few copies of an Iceman just like that too but impossible to find.

I can't really give you much detail about profile, I honestly really never pay that much attention to those details. I got it with the Duncan Distortions so I don't know how the original pickups sound. I would say it's a bit dark sounding. It's been a LONG time since I have played it out because it's not the style of music I play out now mainly. It is a really cool guitar though, not one I would want to get rid of first if needed.

Thanks for the nice comments. It's good to be here.
