Eddie should hire his old tech Zeke Clark back into the fold. Maybe he can wire that little red button on Ed's guitar to cut out Dave's microphone.
 
My only issue with bringing Sammy back would be the set list. In the Sammy era, they never played more than 2-3 Dave songs and it was usually just Really Got Me, Panama, and Jump. I prefer to hear Eddie play the older stuff even if you have to put up with Dave.

Kiss, Aerosmith, VH...it's all winding down...5-6 years from now none of these bands will be around anymore and a whole generation of arena rock will be gone. Enjoy it while it lasts...even when it's not as good as it was or should be. It's better than nothing.

Dave could just skip those high notes or try some vocal therapy before the next tour.

I have no problem with Hagar as an artist, but I just don't care for any of that era, and don't want to hear Sammy sing songs of VH I & II.

Van Halen wont be touring much longer. They are all 60ish. Im glad to just have them still playing and having the opportunity to still see them.

A lot of DLR hate. The Ellen footage is already available on Ellentube and DLR does a pretty good Jump on there. DLR never was the ultimate singer but the perfect clown to front VH. I get that people think DLR is horrible and understand why but Ill be at this summers tour with a smile on my face just glad to see one of my favorite bands again.
 
Wolfie needs to quit wolfin down those big macs...damn...that just ain't healthy. And I still say I'd like to see DLR vs Coverdale in a sing-off....
