I figured I'd like it more. Rick Rubin is usually on point. I guess there's only so much he could have done with those guys.
 
Sweet album for sure.
All Nightmare Long is probably the best song on there.

They seriously need to go back to the Gary Holt school of Thrash. :lol: :LOL:
 
Just now got it. Listening to track one, found a nice 320 kbps rip.

Vocals are still the weakest link but it sounds good, better than their previous piles of shit.
 
May as well do a little song by song review as I hear them...

First song, That was Just Your Life, nice little thrashy song.
2nd track, End of the Line, slower but still a bit thrashy. Not bad.
3rd track, Broken, Beat, and Scarred. Not thrashy... don't really care for it. It's got some groove to it, but... eh, don't care for it, I actually kind of want to hit next..

Edit: Brief update, track 4, The Day That Never Comes, shit sucks.... Wait I take that back, the first 2/3rd of the song sucks, the rest is actually nice.

Edit 2: Next update, All Nightmare Long, good song, not the best song on the album like many were telling me, but still good.
Cyanide, meh. That's just about it... meh. Couple nice riffs but overall meh.

Edit 3: The Unforgiven III... blah
The Judas Kiss, off to a good start, see where it goes from here... eh pretty meh again. Similar to Cyanide.

Edit 4: Suicide and Redemption, instrumental, really nice song, arguably one of the best on the album I'd say.
My Apocalypse, earlier I kind of reviewed this track in another thread but with this second listen its really growing on me.

Overall it isn't a great album but it certainly isn't bad either, frankly its definitely a step in the right direction.

I'd give it a 7/10

I've heard those three officially released tracks and I'm not gonna listen to more of those songs until I buy the album on 12th. :thumbsup:
