Been listening to Buckethead. Never knew he had so much material. What I first heard him it wasn't of any interest and I even saw him him live and he played some really abstract material that had the same effect. Now at work my friend put his music on and all the other than abstract comes on his playlist and holy crap, he is so talented. He has some beautiful melodies is his slow pieces that caught me.

I saw Buckethead here in STL in 06. I went to the show with a friend who was a big fan, and hadn't really listened to him before very much. Totally awesome show, the stuff that guy does and makes look effortless blew my mind, and the range of styles he can play. For sure became a fan that night.

@studio289 ever heard this one? Very sublime and gets better with repeated listens.

Got into him through Col Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains back in high school.

Saw them live on some weird mind-altering substances. I don't think I'd have needed help being amazed, but happened to be standing right against the barricade directly in front of Buckethead and his Mesa half stack. First off, incredible tone. Then the playing and the extra antics (dancing and nunchuks) were icing on the cake. Mind still blown.

Saw him solo a couple of times otherwise and it wasn't as cool. That dude slays with a band, though.
