I found my old Zoom Q3HD so I made some clips of my 69 Marshall Replica amp, NOS Iskras, NOS Mustards ARS/Mallory/Sozo filter caps, EH6CA7's, V1 Tungsol (Russian) V2 Ruby HGAC5, V3 NOS Sylvania, Metro 1998C Dagnall clone, Metro Dagnall clone choke, Classictone 40-18053 M6 laminations PT. Playing is a bit subpar...it's been awhile. Marshall 1982B cab with Celestion Heritage 12H-30 55hz speakers both clips.

First clip is a little Zep then some VH Riffs, Musikraft Franky w/ Duncan 78 model (9k)p/u, Cinch EP-PRE, Boss GE7(very slight boost)> Channel 1 Vol 7 PPIMV Vol 5 THd hotplate set to -4
I play it straight in then step on the EP-PRE for ZEP then then the EQ pedal when the VH stuff starts.

Second clip is more hard rock heavier tones, 1983 Kramer Pacer w/Duncan Custom(14K), SRB OD808 in SD-1 mode>Channel 1 Volume 7 PPIMV Vol 5 THD hotplate set to -4
0-3:42 no bright cap 3:42 I engage the bright cap

dude. be proud. great rock tones for sure! heartbreaker and dio. sounds excellent

Thanks for listening... it's nice to have other ears listen in. I tried a few different positions to set up the Zoom, straight on none of the lowend came through on the recording. That off axis angle seemed to garner the best representation of what I hear in the room. I really like that Duncan 78 model for the early Ed stuff it just has the right amount of everything and feel and it makes you work for it.

One last clip, a little more wanking. This one is low volume about loud TV level, I start off playing straight in first then turn on the EP-PRE at 1:25 for the ZEP tunes then the GE7 at 3:14 for the EVH stuff.
