Demo song, Scream/British quad tracked

Normally I stay on the British channel for rhythm guitar tracking, but I've been experimenting with layering the scream channel on, for a bit of extra aggression!

Signal chain is my usual - Jim Wager Godwoods, Dino, V30 loaded Redplate 4x12, SM57, straight into Reaper.

No additional EQ or compression, outboard or in the box. (None needed!)

I sure am raising my post count by coming here as well. A few years ago I got an old JCM800 that Larry did in the 90s. Saw someone here with a 150w JCM mod which is interesting. Larry sent me order info in 2019 and there are a lot of models, not to mention tons of old variations of the Dino. Which ones overlap and which ones are their own thing?

You'd have to ask Larry himself, or perhaps @SBlue

There's so many variations it would be a lot to explain, and I'm at work right now 😂
Love the harmonized lines!

Thanks man! I'm working on a new one right now, haven't finished mixing it or fixed any of my wonky solo improv, but will in the next couple days

And here's another!!! I tracked this very quickly, so it's a bit sloppy. But it gives you a good idea of the "crunch" of a Sennheiser 421 on a Larry.

The songwriting is good; I dig the riffs. If I could change the guitar tone, I would suck some 350Hz out. It sounds congested in that area.
