Rpublican legislative aide Howard L. Brooks was charged with molesting a 12-year old boy and possession of child pornography.
 
Lets face it:

There are creepy assholes on all sides of politics and in every profession, religion and area worldwide.

Nobody's going to win an argument that singles out this profession, political persuasion or whatever as being "more-guilty" than another.

That said, patterns and propensities do exist statistically but as is usually the case, there are exceptions to rules and in this instance, unfortunately, many exceptions.

I mean, even those most-trusted with kids, such as childcare workers and professional baby-sitters who've passed the necessary tests to acquire their "tickets" can be guilty of this disgusting shit.

The only "solution" I can envisage is that the whole world lifts its game morally. Punishment should help theoretically but it's not an end-all solution; a ground-up / inside-out / moral-centre-based one is what's ultimately required IMHO.

That said, it's unfortunate that it's so difficult to affect meaningful change when it comes to the teaching of wholesome morals in schools these days. They're more-likely to embrace the weird-and-whacky. "Be a cat if you want to" springs to mind...

Speaking of patterns and propensities.

The most common abuser, by far, is a straight, white, Christian male in his late 60s or early 70s.

But let's face it, these MAGA's have been pushing this as only a one sided political issue. Stating that Democrats are these things as a whole.

These guys have no policy so they have stooped so low as to (DISTURBINGLY) call everyone they don't like PEDO.
